Had a supremely uneasy and awkwardly bad ‘date’ last night. I walked out on the guy. Took care of myself with a hot shower, comfy pjs and bed to help rid myself of bad mojo; fell asleep late, woke up early to the sun filtering in.

Still feeling slightly let down when I woke I begin blogging all the new gifs for the Steam Powered Giraffe fan tumblr. I find myself becoming more my usual cheerful self. I stumble across a gif of The Jon banging on Sam’s drums wearing his fantastically oversized sombrero and I laugh out loud. I venture across the new MV for Automatonic Electronic Harmonics and I’m grinning stupidly from ear to ear and I somehow know, today is going to be awesome.

It’s interesting (not to mention exciting) to hear the remixed/recorded version Automatonic Electronic Harmonics. At least for those of us who’ve been listening to the live album nonstop for so long, (actually I know I’ve reheard it sometime on Bunny’s stream). But suffice it to say I enjoyed it immensely! The editing and direction of the video is impressive and I’m excited for what else the robots have in store! Automatonic Electronic Harmonics is a favorite of mine and I somehow seem to always find myself listening to it every day during the ‘golden hour’ of sunset driving along the Texas coast. I know the song by heart and am beyond delighted to know the 2¢ Show albums have been released!

Another great something to look forward to today? My Canon 85mm 1.2F L USM lens is arriving! I received my new Canon 5D Mark III yesterday and I am SO excited to start shooting. YAHOO! I’m taking my mother’s advice and have decided to immerse myself fully into my budding photography career. Instead of waiting for something to happen, I’m pushing forward and making it happen. Let’s be ambitious!
